The majority of the species held within the ebro river exceed many of the British recorded weights. The river Ebro is largely untouched and houses many monster fish weighing heavier than their captors, a majority of which have never been caught, creating a magnificent fight for the angler.

Catalonia's great Fishing Boat Trips:
Why not try one of our river boat trips, its ideal for thoes late risers. We set off at 9:45 am to meet the guide. Fishing holiday trips lasts for 8 hrs, this is plenty of time to catch that dream fish. There is a maximum of 3 people, (not including guide), per boat and is a set fee per boat and a packed lunch is provided, (if already pre arranged). There are three rods available on each river boats in order for everyone to have a fair chance of catching that monster fish. Fish Bait and tackle are all included along with a fully experienced guide.
The fishing holidays tour guide will take you along the ebro river drifting near to the margins shading you from the intense sun which can be apparent in the peack season times, then you just sit back admire the beautiful scenery and wait for that rod to scream. |

Catfish holidays in Catalonia leisure :
Only recently a giant catfish with a recorded weight of 1911b was caught by Glen Patterson, who cannot wait to return and attempt to beat his record catch. Many Europeans regard the river Ebro as Europe's premier course fishing river, with Carp fish possibly weighing up to 60lb, this is in addition to the numerous 20lb-30lb fish evident in the river.
All Permit fishing licences are arranged free of charge when booking with Catalonia Leisure and are valid for one year. So after your initial visit you have a full year to get another rod breaking experience.
